STEAM (Science, Technology, Education, Arts, Mathematics), Maker Education, and the DIY movement offer a fun and engaging way to embed math lessons into a larger framework of project-based learning.  You’ll use basic craft materials to construct robotic arms, then progress into using technology to design robotic prototypes, concluding with building simple robots using a Hummingbird Robotics Kit, all while exploring CCSS topics of geometric shapes, scale and relationships.
