Sharon Johnson has been teaching for 20+ years. She has participated in extensive professional development with Mathematically Connected Communities (MC2) and done workshops for fellow teachers. Her experiences and her teaching have evolved based on her increased knowledge of the content and delving deeper into the meaning behind the math and how students learn. In her experience, Math Snacks provides students with a fun way to see math and serves as a pivotal learning experience where the learning community can make references to difficult math concepts using simple references to our shared experience with the animations and games.
